2012 Key West Songwriter's Festival This Week

        The 17th annual edition of the Key West Songwriters' Festival is underway this week here in Key West.    This is the largest festival of it's kind in the world and is a favorite of the many Key West locals as well as the tourists that arrive here each year to see this wonderful event.   The full schedule is available at http://www.keywestsongwritersfestival.com/WEB_2012_SCHEDULE.pdf .   

    This show goes on for 5 days and nights and has more than 30 free shows to be performed at many of the more popular venues and hot spots throughout the island.     There are several impromptu appearances by notables in acoustic performances as well.   The link above will provide you with the entire schedule for the musical performances and their location.
