April 17th is not that far away and the excitement is beginning to build for this years Miami Rum Festival. If you haven't gotten your tickets yet, just go online and get them. There will be no tickets available at the door this year, so make sure you get yours before you make the trip down there. I'll be posting daily from the event all week long, with notes of what is happening with the judges and the meeting with the various producers. This is an interesting week that provides us with a lot of new information on the up and coming new products and things that are happening in the world of rum.
Remember to get your tickets and a room if necessary, but please try to visit the event if you can, it is a most unforgettable happening. If you can get a room at the Double Tree Miami Airport you will be right in the center of all the action for the festival.
