

As of 8:30 a.m. EDT September 3,, Tropical Storm Gordon was located at 25.1 N and 80.7 W, or about 20 miles west of Key Largo, Fla., and about 35 miles southeast of Marco Island, Fla. Its maximum sustained winds remain at 45 mph as it moves to the west-northwest at 17 mph. The minimum central pressure of was at 1009 mb or 29.80 inches of mercury. Further strengthening is anticipated over the next few days, with Gordon as it sets its target on the central Gulf Coast. Landfall looks to be late Tuesday night or early Wednesday.
Well it finally let us know that it was passing, last night about 11 pm, it hit us with a huge thunderstorm with all of the wild lightning and thunder. Most of the day was sunny and nice until this came by and gave us a spectacular show.
